8. Account Deletion

You may request to delete your Shifupay account and associated personal data at any time using one of the following methods:

Method 1: In-App / Website

  1. Log in to your Shifupay account on the website or mobile app.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap/click "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted.
  5. Your account will be scheduled for deletion.

Method 2: Email Request

  1. Send an email to sales@shifupay.net from the email address registered to your account.
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. Include your full name and registered email address in the body.
  4. We will process your request within 30 days.

Important Notes

  • All pending transactions must be completed or cancelled before deletion can proceed.
  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
  • Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our active systems. However, certain data may be retained in anonymized form or as required by law (e.g., transaction records for regulatory compliance).
  • Any active signal subscriptions will be cancelled upon account deletion.

9. Push Notifications

We may send push notifications to your mobile device to provide transaction updates, security alerts, and other important information. You can manage your notification preferences in the app settings or through your device settings. Opting out of push notifications will not affect the delivery of essential account and security notifications via email.
